KVK, Malyal organized online Training Programme on “Better management practices in Oil palm” on 11-01-2022

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized online training programme on “Better management practices in Oil palm” through YouTube live stream in collaboration with Reliance Foundation on 11-01-2022. In this programme, Dr. S. Malathi, Programme coordinator, KVK, Malyal briefed the participants about importance of Oil palm production scenario of Telangana State in the country. Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) explained about better management practices like suitable environment, soil, hybrid, fertilizer, basin management, inter crops to be grown, pest & disease management and subsidy pattern given by Telangana Government in Oil palm cultivation through power point presentation. Post presentation, queries raised by farmers on Oil Palm cultivation were answered by the experts. There were almost 180 views of the programme in the first few hours after the live streaming. Sri Yakub, State Coordinator, Smt. Ch. Varahalu, Project Manager from Reliance Foundation coordinated the programme.
