KVK, Malyal – Organized training programme on “Good management practices in Tomato” at Yellampeta, Maripeda Mandal on 05-11-2022

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized training programme on “Good management practices in Tomato” at Yellampeta, Maripeda Mandal, Mahabubabad district on 05-11-2022. Dr. E. Rambabu SMS (Horticulture) explained about varieties suitable for Yasangi and Summer seasons, fertilizer management, growth regulators to be used for increasing flowering and fruiting, correction of physiological disorders by using micro nutrients, integrated management practices for pest and disease control. Later, farmers queries on Tomato, Mango, Chillies were answered. During the interaction management of flower drop, wilting and Gemini mosaic virus in Chilli, Mango orchard maintenance in November and December months were dealt with.In this programme, Sri V. Anitha Sri, HO, Maripeda, Sri. G. Rajendra Prasad, AEO, Yellampeta cluster, Sri K. Punnam Chander, Field Assistant, TSOILFED, Sri T. Srinivas, Sarpanch, Yellampeta and 45 no.of farmers participated
