KVK, Malyal – Organized “Training programme on Better management practices in Kharif crops under TSP 2023-24” at KVK, Malyal on 26-06-2023

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized Training programme on “Better management practices in Kharif crops” to tribal farmers under Tribal Sub Plan project, 2023-24 at KVK, Malyal on 26-06-2023. Sri B. Kranthi Kumar, SMS (Crop Production) explained about seed treatment, nursery management in Paddy, paired method of planting and fertilizer management in Maize. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal reiterated the importance of seed treatment in Paddy and explained in detail about direct seeding and drum seeding technology in Paddy; fall armyworm management and wilt management in Maize. Later, conducted method demonstration on HDPS Cotton sowing with pneumatic planter at KVK instructional farm. Sri B. Chatru Naik, DAO, Mahabubabad, Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) and 53 no. of farmers and farmwomen from Doravarivempally, Kothaguda Mandal participated in the programme.
