Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension), explained about DAPSC Project objectives and need and importance of natural farming in present scenario. Sri G. Ashok Kumar, a Natural farming practicing farmer explained about different Natural farming inputs preparation and its role in improvement of soil health, plant health and sustained ecosystem. He emphasized on usage of cow based agro inputs, preparation of different natural farming products for pest and disease control in paddy and other crops, stressed on Paddy desi varieties, cultivation in Natural farming and importance in human health. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK Malyal explained about application of FYM, Vermicompost, Neem cake, Groundnut cake to enrich soil health instead of using complex chemical fertilizers; usage of eco-friendly microbial fungicides and insecticides to avoid indiscriminate use of pesticides. Smt T. Lavanya, AEO, Mahabubabad cluster, Sri K. Shivanna, Ward Councellor, Jamnadlapalli and 28 farmers and farm women attended the training programme.
