Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized Online Farmers’ Training Programme on “Pest and Disease management in Chilli” through digital audio conference on 10-11-2021
Online Farmers’ Training Programme on “Pest and Disease management in Chilli” was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal on 10-11-2021 through digital audio conference in collaboration with Reliance Foundation. Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) explained about integrated pest management practices like installation of Yellow sticky traps, Pheromone traps, jowar as border crop, usage of Trichoderma and Pseudomonas in chilli etc. She explained about the nematode management and remedial measures to micronutrient deficiencies in chilli crop. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator explained about the crop management practices in Cotton and Chilli crops for current situation. Later, the experts answered to the queries raised by the farmers in the standing crops. Sri. G. Ramesh, Project Manager from Reliance Foundation coordinated the programme and 42 number of farmers from Warangal (Rural) district participated in the programme.
