Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized training programme on “Good management practices in Turmeric” at Rythuvedika, Kesamudram on 19.11.2024. Dr. E. Rambabu SMS (Horticulture) explained about good management practices in Turmeric which includes fertilizer management, weed management, correction of micronutrient deficiencies, pest and disease management. He also explained about pest and disease management of Chilli crop in the present situation and answered the queries raised by the farmers. Sri A. Srinivas Rao, ADA, Mahabubabad division requested farmers to inculcate habit of incorporation of Cotton and Paddy stubbles into the soil instead of burning. He also explained about measures to be taken in Paddy and Cotton before marketing into the procurement centers. In this programme, Sri B. Venkanna, MAO, Kesamudram, Sri B. Mahender, MAO, Inugurthy, Sri M. Srinivas, AEO, Upparapally, Sri N. Saicharan, AEO, Penugonda, Smt V. Lavanya, AEO, Kalwala, Sri B. Karnakar, PMO, TGOILFED Mahabubabad and 35 farmers participated.
