Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized Farmers Training Programme on “Use of Biopesticides in Pest Management” under SCSP project 2021-22 on 22-03-2022

A training Programme on “Use of Biopesticides in Pest Management” under SCSP project 2021-22, was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal, Mahabubabad district on 22-03-2022 in Nanchari Madoor village of Thorrur mandal. Smt. A. Ramulamma SMS (Plant Protection) explained about the Use of Biopesticides in Pest Management, types of Biopesticides and Importance of Biopesticides and Sri. Kumar Yadav, MAO, Thorrur explained about Departmental schemes like Crop booking, Rythubandu, Rythubheema etc. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal, addressed the gathering and explained about Hazardous effects of chemical pesticides and emphasized on integrated pest management practices to reduce the chemical pesticides sprayings and later, answer the queries raised by the farmers in paddy crop. Smt. Jamuna AEO, Velikatte cluster, Thorrur mandal and 48 no.of farmers were participated in the programme.
