KVK, Malyal organized training programme on “water saving technologies in different crops” under Jal Shakthi Abhiyan on 26-10-2022

Training Programme on “water saving technologies in different crops”was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal on 26-10-2022 at Rythuvedhika, Burhanpuram village of Maripeda Mandal. Importance of Jal Shakti Abhiyan was explained by Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extn.). He explained different rain water harvesting structures in field as well as at home and explained different ICT tools utilized in Agriculture. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator KVK, Malyal addressed the gathering and explained the need of water conservation technologies, concept of alternate methods of rice planting, micro irrigation. After completing the training programme visited HDPS cotton, tomato and bhendi fields. In this programme, Sri N. Praveen Reddy, RSS Member, Sri G. Jagadish Reddy, RSS Member, Sri B. Veera Singh, AO, Maripeda, Md. Javeed Khan AEO, Burhanpur cluster and 53 no.of farmers participated.
