Rajkumar, SMS, Horti. explained about the additional income generation and nutritional security through vegetable nutrigarden and the vegetables kits supplied by the KVK. Also discussed about the growing of vegetables in grow bags. Dr. M. Swetha, SMS Extn. Explained the water conservation techniques as part of Jalshakthi Abhiyan. Dr. M. Suresh, SMS, CP explained about the fertilizer management in Rice and Soybean crops and ill effects of indiscriminate use. Sri P. Vijay Kumar explained the pest and diseases in Rice and Soy bean and their management practices Joint diagnostic Field visit in coordination with Agril. Department officials was conducted and in Rice and soybean Fields where stem girdler was observed in soybean and suggested control measures.
