KVK, Palem in collaboration with ICAR-CICR, Nagpur has organized awareness cum input distribution on Tarpaulin sheets under Tribal sub plan (TSP) at KVK, Palem on 30.01.2023

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Palem in collaboration with ICAR-CICR, Nagpur has organized awareness cum input distribution on Tarpaulin sheets to farmers of surpaur village of lingal mandal Nagarkurnool dist under Tribal sub plan (TSP) on 30.01.2023. The program was chaired by Dr. Chinna baabu naik (Senior scientist & Nodal officer of TSP), CICR, Nagpur briefed about the CICR developmental activities in agriculture & Tribal Sub Plan activities at CICR Nagpur and importance of Tarpaulin sheets and its benefits in agriculture and allied sectors. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy (PC, KVK, Palem) spoke about the KVK, Palem under taken various activities like distribution of vegetable seedlings, greengram seeds, tarps, tarpaulin sheets and training programmes on innovative and sustainable approaches in agriculture like integrated farming systems, organic farming, resources conservation technologies and integrated crop management technologies in millets etc. After that distributed tarpaulin sheets to ST farmers of surapur village of Lingal mandal. A total of 30 tarpualin sheets were distributed to the beneficiaries. In this program Dr. M. Parimala Kumar, Scientist (Agronomy) Dr. B. Rajashekar (SMS-AE), Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horti) Dr. Shaila, SMS (PP) KVK, Palem and total of 30 farmers have participated.
