KVK, Palem organized RKVY-ASCI certificate distribution programme on Sericulturist and Quality Seed Growers at KVK, Palem on 10-08-2021

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Palem was organized two Sill Development training programmes under Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI) of 25 days duration on a) Sericulturist and b)Quality Seed Growers. Main objective of the training is to provide hands on training to rural youth for minimum 200 hours duration for their self-employment. A total of forty trainees (20 in each programme) had registered for the programme. The training programme was successfully completed and all the trainees received the final assessment certificates. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem spoke about the importance of the programme organized by ASCI under PMKVY and briefed about the programme themes and schedule. Agricultural skill will play an important role in transforming youth into agri-preneures so that they can be self employed as well as provide employment to others through skill development programme. In this programme Mr. M. Rajashekhar, SMS (Plant Protection) i/c of Sericulturist and Mr.B. Rajashekar, SMS (Extension) i/c of Quality seed growers a total of 28 trainees were participated.
