KVK, Palem has been organized Farmers - Scientists Interface on Climate Resilient Varieties, Technologies and Practices and web telecasting at Mailaram (Rythu vedika) village of Koderu mandal. In this program Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy (PC, KVK, Palem) briefed about the program. Initially showcased live telecast of Shri. Narendra Modi, Honourable Prime Minister of India on Climate Resilient Varieties and Technologies. Created awareness on Climate Resilient Varieties, Technologies and Practices. Further in recent years climate change and its variability are emerging as major challenges to Indian agriculture. Stressed more on climate smart agricultural technologies. Mr. M. Rajashekhar ( SMS-PP) spoken about the integrated pest & disease management in field & horticultural crops. Insisted all the farmers to follow the latest technologies for obtaining of higher yields. Mr. B. Rajashekhar (SMS- Extension ) presented sources of Agriculture information. In this program L. Sravika ( SMS-DAMU), Sri ram ( MAO-Koder), Srinivasa Rao ( MPP), Mashanna( Sarpanch), Sravan ( AEO), RSS members & public representatives a total of 118 farmers from Mailaram, Rajapur, Naryanaik thanda villages were participated.
