KVK, Palem conducted Demonstration of biomass incorporator (Rotary Agar Plough) at Manganur village, Bijinapally, Nagarkurnool District on 05.07.2024. Biomass incorporator is a combination of cutting unit, mould board plough and vertical rotating clod-crusher. The cutting unit cuts the green manure crop in small pieces. The two shares of mould board plough cuts the furrow slice, the shortened mould board lifts it and finally the vertical rotating clod crusher fitted behind each bottom, pulverizes the furrow slice thereby producing desired soil fragmentation and covering the plant biomass and other remnants with the soil. Dr.T.Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK Palem briefed about the operation of the machine and it's advantages to the farmers. In this demonstration Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy Programme Coordinator Dr.Sravan Kumar scientist FIM scheme and K. Ramakrishna SMS-CP- KVK, Palem and 32 farmers were participated.
