KVK, Palem conducted Demonstration of Groundnut Digger cum Shaker at Mamillapally(Vi), Uppununthala(M), Nagar kurnool dist. on 07.01.2024. Conducted field demonstration on digger cum shaker at farmer venu gopal field. Explained about differences between mannual harvesting when compared to groundnut digger also emphasised on cost, risk reduction process. Briefed about ideal soil texture, structure, bulk density moisture content by using moisture meter, depth of harvesting, RPM of PTO shaft, vehicle speed needed for good harvest. In this Demonstration Mr. K. Ramakrishna, SMS (CP) KVK, Palem, Dr. K. Sridhar, Scientist Agronomy. Ms.K. Sravanthi, Groundnut Breeder RARS, Palem and 10 farmers were participated.
