KVK, Palem conducted a Demonstration of Hand operated portable grader for Major Millet processing at kanapur Village Bijinepally, Nagarkurnool on 18.12.2023. Mrs. E. Jyoshna SMS (Home Science) Explained about the significance of Manual grader to improve the selling price at the farmers field. Explained about the difference between the traditional practice of Millet grading and grading of millets with portable manual grader. Demonstrated the major millets like jowar yellow and white and Ragi. Emphasized about the role of Drudgery Reducing postures with the traditional practice as well as with portable graders. Enlightened about the work efficacy with the grading accuracy to the women farmers. In this demonstration Mrs. E. Jyoshna SMS (Home Science) and 8 Farm women were participated.
