KVK, Palem conducted a Visit to mango OFT fields at Machinenipally (V), Telkapally (M), Nagarkurnool (D) on 29.01.2025. KVK, Palem has carried out an OFT on Assessment on management of mango leafhopper in mango in 5 different locations of Nagarkurnool district. The crop is at inflorescence to fruit formation stage and observed leaf hoppers (10-15 nymphs &adults/ inflorescence (above ETL)) and thrips (above ETL). Distributed critical inputs viz., Azadiractin, Thiomethoxam, Imidacloprid and Needful advisories are made by the team. In this visit Dr. O. Shaila, SMS (Plant protection), Dr.Adhi Shankar, SMS (Hort), Rajesh Kumar, YP I, KVK, Palem and 4 farmers were participated.
