KVK, Palem conducted Follow up visit to OFT on Red chilli var., LCA 643 and FLD on Chrysanthemum at Ballanpally village, Nagarkurnool District on 02.11.2024. Dr. A. Shankar, SMS(Hort.), KVK, Palem visited to OFT on new Red chilli variety LCA643 vat Sri Venkataswami's field and the crop is at the flowering and fruit setting stage, observed gall midge and spodoptera infestation, recommended to spray Coragene 0.3ml and Neem oil 5ml per litre. FLD on Chrysanthemum crop, the crop is at flowering stage and recommend to spray SAAF@ 2g/ L of water, twice at weekly interval to control Anthracnose leaf blight disease in Chrysanthemum crop. He is also SC beneficiary of vegetable seedlings and the green chilli crop is at fruiting stage. The biometric data was recorded. In this visit Dr.A.Shanakar (SMS, Horticulture), and 3 farmers were participated.
