KVK, Palem installed bio-acoustic devices in farmers fields on 22-10-2021
KVK, Palem in collaboration with All India Network Project on Vertebrate Pest Management (AINP on VPM), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad installed solar based bioacoustic devices at four locations. The main aim of the installation is to deter or reduce the menace of Monkeys, wild boars, Nilgais and other wild animals. Because of these wild animals attack most of the farmers were unable to cultivate the field & horticulture crops. Farmers also trained about the on & off mechanism of the devices. In this program Mr. M. Rajashekhar (SMS-PP), 16 farmers from palem,Venkatapur, Bajjipur and chegunta participated.
