KVK, Palem organized RAWE Programme exposure visit to Madharam village (Innovative farm) on 07.11.2022

KVK, Palem has organized RAWE Programme exposure visit to Madharam village of Urkonda mandal of Nagarkurnool dist on 07.11.2022 to Kharif batch students. Dr. B. Rajashekar, Subject Matter Specialist (Agril. Extension) briefed about the importance of RAWE programme, Student ready programme and good opportunity to learn new skills in farming and it helps students become entrepreneurs. Mr. Mallela Krishna Reddy addressed importance of integrated farming system (IFS), sub surface drip system in orange orchard, rain gun with low cost technology in groundnut, Seed production in paddy and other innovative technologies in agriculture and allied sectors and explained various crops cost of cultivation and suggested timely field operations leads to higher yields and double the income of the farmers. In this programme best farmers and 57 students from College of Agriculture- Rajendranagar and Agriculture College Palem have participated
