KVK, Palem organized RAWE Programme exposure visit to RARS, Palem on 25.10.2022

KVK, Palem has organized RAWE Programme exposure visit to RARS, Palem on 25.10.2022 to Kharif batch students. Dr. M. Goverdhan, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Palem addressed the importance of RAWE programme, Student ready programme and good opportunity to learning new skills in farming and it helps students become as an entrepreneur. And also explained the dry land farming systems and various ongoing research programmes were taken up RARS, Palem under plan and non plan schemes to development of high yielding verities and location specific technologies for the benefit of farming community and briefed about integrated farming systems (IFS) suitable for various zones of Telangana state and its importance in getting year round and consistency income and sustainable farming. Dr. A. Sriram, Scientist (Plant Breeder), RARS, Palem and B. Rajashekar SMS (Extension) both were visited various research plots in farm and explained. In this programme all the staff of KVK, Palem and 57 students from College of Agriculture- Rajendranagar and Agriculture College Palem were participated.
