KVK, Palem Scientists attended Rythu Nestham Live Programme and Farmer-Scientist Interaction at Rythu Nestam live programme organized by Electronic wing, PJTAU on 19.11.2024. Dr.T.Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem explained about the significance of in-situ residue management, mentioned about the problem of residue burning and ill-effects of residue burning. Also briefed about management of crop residues using rotary mulcher, shredder and decomposition of residues using pusa decomposer for rapid decomposition of crop residues. the programme was virtually attended by farmers and extension officers through rhytu vedikas of telangana state.
