KVK, Palem organized a Training programme on Best Management Practices in Groundnut at RARS, Palem, bijinepally, Nagar Kurnool district on 20.07.2024. KVK Palem and RARS Palem jointly organized training cum seed distribution programme to the Yadireddypally village farmers. Training mainly emphasized on weed management, nutrient management, pest and disease management in kharif groundnut cultivation. Dr. Vanisri (Principal scientist oil seeds) explained in current scenario of groundnut cultivation and it's problems and prospects in pertaining to marketing. In this training Dr. Vanisri (Principal scientist oil seeds), Mr. K. Ramakrishna SMS-CP- KVK, Palem, N. Navatha (scientist agronomy), K. Sravanthi scientist (genetics and plant breeding) and 54 farmers were participated
