KVK, Palem organized a Training programme on Integrated Crop Management in chilli & Diagnostic field visit at Guntakoduru(V), Tadoor(M), Nagar kurnool dist on 04.09.2023. Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem given Training on Nursery management, seedling dip method, Integrated Nutrient Management, and integrated pest and disease management. Explained special operations like drip and mulching systems, biofertilizer application, and fertigation techniques to reduce the cost of cultivation. Farmer-Scientist interaction held at the end of the session and given solutions to farmers' queries about chilli crop. Diagnostic field visited to the chilli farmers of the village. suggested drenching of COC@ 3g/L to avoid collar rot and wilt complex and avoid excess moisture conditions in the fields. Visited to Md. Sulthan chilli field and found Root-knot nematode infestation in the nursery and main field. Suggested drenching of Fluopyram 400SC (34.48%w/w) @ 0.625ml/L twice or Fluensulfone 2% Gr@ 1.5g/ plant application. Aslo observed collar rot in Chiili and suggested drenching of Ridomil Mz@ 2.5g/ L. In this programme Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem, Ramesh, Agri. officer, Tadoor, AEO of Guntakoduru, Sri. Venkatayya, Sarpanch, Sri. Chandraiah, Dy. Sarpach, Ramesh, Srisailam, Ganesh- Input dealers and 36 farmers were participated.
