KVK, Palem organized Training Programme on Importance of Food Based enterprise establishment at Palem village, Bijinepally mandal, Nagarkurnool dist. on 05.12.2024. Mrs. E. Jyoshna SMS (H.SC), KVK, Palem emphasized about how this initiative enables SHG women members to gain technical skills and entrepreneurial confidence, fostering their socio-economic empowerment. Explained about Role of Food-based enterprises to provide SHG members with sustainable income opportunities to reduce dependence on traditional or seasonal sources of income. Promotion of efficient use of locally available agricultural produce and resources, adding value and reducing wastage. SHG members can enhance their knowledge in food processing, preservation, packaging, and marketing, improving product quality and profitability. Role of banks and DRDA access to loans and grants Rural Economic. By focusing on food production and processing, these initiatives can improve the availability of nutritious and affordable food for local communities. Through This multi-stakeholder approach demonstrates a sustainable model for rural development, leveraging technical expertise, financial support and community participation to improve livelihoods and spur local economic growth. In this training Mrs. E. Jyoshna, SMS(HSc), KVK, Palem, Mr. Prikshapathi, UBI Bank officer, Muniswami, VIVO and 35 SHG women members were participated.
