KVK, Palem organized a Training programme on Integrated management in Guava at Raithu vedika, Yanmanbetla (V), Nagar kurnool dist on 02.02.2024. Training given on Integrated practices in Guava like, selection of site, planting, After care, training and pruning, irrigation, integrated nutrient, pest and disease management, special practices like training and pruning, bio fertilizer application, inter- ropping syatems and post-harvest techniques to the farmers by SMS(Hort.). Diagnostic field visited the mango field and observed Powdery mildew disease and Black thrips, recommended to spraying of eomithaxam 0.3g and Hexaconozol 2ml per litre of water. Sri Laxman, Horticulture officer, Kollapur, Explanied about MIDH, NHB schemes and subsidy in fruit crops. Sri Nagaraju, AO, kollapur explained success stories of drum seeder in Paddy cultivation in the division and motivated the farmers to adopt this technology to avoid late sowing in Ravi season. In training Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem, K. Ramakrishna, SMS (CP), KVK, Palem, K. Laxman, Ho, Nagaraju, AO, Srikanth, AEO, sri Nagaraju garu, Sarpanch, sri Basker goud garu, MPTC, Sri Krishna, DIrector, PAC and other public representatives total 54 members were participated.
