KVK, Palem organized Training cum Method Demonstration of Groundnut Digger cum shaker at Nandi Vaddeman (V), Bijinepally (M), Nagar Kurnool (D) on 08.01.2024. Organized Training cum Method Demonstration on Digger cum shaker in Groundnut crop at farmer G. Chandraiah field. Explained about differences between manual harvesting when compared to groundnut digger also emphasized on cost, risk reduction process. Briefed about ideal soil texture, structure, bulk density moisture content by using moisture meter, depth of harvesting, RPM of PTO shaft, vehicle speed needed for good harvest. Different pest and diseases with their corrective measures. Different varieties available in Groundnut crop. In this demonstration Mr. K. Ramakrishna SMS (CP) KVK, Palem, Ms.K. Sravanthi, Dr. Nalini, Dr. M. Shankar, Dr. K. Sridhar, Dr. V. Divya Rani, Dr. L. Sravika from RARS, Palem and 62 farmers were participated.
