KVK, Palem organized training programme on Integrated Farming System to small & marginal farmers at KVK, Palem on 09.01.2025. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem emphasized the importance of integrated farming system in dry land farming system areas and climate resilient technologies like IFS, soil and water conservation, crop rotation, rain water harvesting structures adopting like farm pond and best management practices etc. Sri. Vinod G. Deshmukh, AM, RO NABARD, Telangana, Hyderabad briefed about NABARD credit facilities for development of agriculture and allied sector and bankable projects under farm promotion fund sector. Sri.Manohar reddy, DDM, NABARD, Mahaboobnagar addressed the subsidy and finance facilities under NABARD and Sri. Srinivas, LDM, Nagarkurnool explained about bank finace and credit facilities rule and regulations under agri and allied sector. Dr. B. Rajashekar, SMS (AE) KVK, Palem briefed on various integrated farming components exclusively dry land areas like Nagarkurnool and explained management practices on timely basis. Dr. O. Shaila, SMS (PP) KVK, palem has explained importance of integrated pest and disease management practices in major crops. In this programme Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem and team, Sri.Manohar reddy, DDM, NABARD, Mahaboobnagar, Sri. Vinod G. Deshmukh, AM, RO NABARD, Telangana, Hyderabad, Smt. Neeti, Agriculture Officer, Bijinepally, progressive farmers and 38 farmers were participated.
