KVK, Palem organized Training Program on “Importance of Nutritional Care for the Lactating Mothers” at Anganwadi Centre, Palem village, Bijinepally mandal, Nagarkurnool dist. on 19.12.2024. Mrs.E.Jyoshna, SMS(HSc), KVK, Palem Explained about the Recommended dietary allowances to lactating mothers. Emphasized on how to identify the gap between recommended nutrients and daily nutrient intake. Suggested to take Balanced diet with available seasonal foods. Recmended to take seasonal fruits and vegetables. Addressed the significance of Balanced diet to cope up with the postpartum recovery. In this programme Mrs.E.Jyoshna, SMS(H.Sc), KVK, Palem, Mrs B. Vijaya Lakshmi and 28 lactating mothers were participated.
