KVK, Palem Organized Sensitization programme on Kisan Sarathi on 28.10.2024 at KVK, Palem. Dr. B. Rajashekar, SMS (Extension) KVK, Palem emphasized the need to acquire the need-based agriculture information from various sources especially which are cost effective and more reliable. And also briefed the importance of the program and gave a brief sketch of implementation and usage of kisan sarathi and procedure. In this context the Kisan sarathi (Interactive Information dissemination system model) facility created by ICAR -PJTAU may be fully utilized to harness the potential of ICT technologies. The utility of toll-free number (1800-123-2175 or 14426) facility has to be used by the farmers. In this programme KVK, Palem supporting staff, Young Professionals and 38 farmers were participated.
