KVK, Palem organized Vana Mahotsav at KVK Instructional Farm on 06.08.2024

KVK, Palem organized a massive Tree plantation drive under Vana Mahotsav 2024. Dr.M.Malla Reddy, ADR, RARS, Palem participated as chief guest of the program and started the tree-planting programme and brifed about the importance of tree plantation on field bunds, agro forestry and agri-horti cropping system practices. KVK, Palem teaching and non-teaching staff planted 110 saplings of fruit plants in horticulture component (1500 m2) of Integrated Farming System located at KVK Farm. In this plantation drive Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, PC, KVK, Palem, Sri. Kalashappa, MPDO, Bijinapally and Smt. R.Rama Devi, District Ground water Officer, Dr.B.Rajashekhar, SMS (Extension), Dr.Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), Mr.E.Jyoshna, SMS (Home Science), Dr.O.Shaila, SMS (Plant Protection), Dr.K.Ramakrishna, SMS (Agronomy), Non-Teaching staff, and EGS workers a total of 42 members were participated.
