KVK, Palem,RARS & DAATTC, Palem organized awareness Programme on crop diversification for ensuing yasangi season on 23-10-2021
KVK, Palem in collaboration RARS & DAATTC, Palem organized interface meeting on crop diversification for yasangi season on 23.10.2021 at auditorium of RARS, Palem. The programme was chaired by Dr. Ch. Damodar Raju, (ADR, RARS, Palem) briefed about the need for promoting crop diversification in Southern Telangana Zone. Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy, PC, KVK, Palem presented importance of irrigated dry crops and also stressed more alternate crops to Paddy like Greengram, Blackgram, Castor & Groundnut. Spoken about the market driven crops to get higher net returns to the farmers. In this programme farmers and crop scientists discussed about suitable crops, varieties and date of sowing of different yasangi crops for promoting crop diversification. A total of 62 farmers, Scientist of KVK, DAATTC & RARS, Palem were participated.
