KVK and RARS, Palem scientists conducted diagnostic field visit to cotton and black gram fields at Peda Muddanuru Village, Nagarkurnool Mandal on 04-12-2021

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) and RARS, Palem scientists conducted diagnostic filed visit to cotton and black gram fields at Peda Muddanuru Village of Nagarkurnool Mandal on 04.12.2021. Observed pink boll worm in cotton after 1st picking and recommended spraying with Chloranthranoliprole + Lambda cyhalothrin @ 0.5ml / L or Indoxacarb + Novaluron @ 1ml/L of water. In black gram observed incidence of tobacco caterpillars and suggested installation of Pheromone traps @ 4/acre, need based spraying with Chlorantranoliprole @ 0.3ml/L of water. For getting of more flowering recommended spraying with Multi-K @ 10g/L of water. In this visit Dr. T. Prabahakar Reddy, PC, KVK, Palem, Dr. V. Divya Rani, Scientist (Pathology), RARS, Palem, Dr. S. Ramesh, Scientist (Entomology), RARS, Palem, Sri.M.Ramesh Babu, ADA, Nagarkurnool, Smt. Narmada, AO, Nagarkurnool along with concern cluster AEOs and 14 progressive farmers were participated.
