KVK, Wyra participated in an awareness programme on Best Management practices in Chillies at Repallevada village of Enkoor Mandal of Khammam District on 17.11.2023 in coordination with IFFCO.

Dr. I.V.S. Reddy, Professor and University Head, Department of Horticulture, Agricultural College Aswaraopet, addressed the gathering on the integrated crop management practices in Chillies and interacted with the farmers. Dr. A. Sailaja, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Wyra, explained post-harvest management practices in Chillies to reap qualitative yield and remunerative price. She also emphasized on the importance of group concept in adoption of technology. Mr. Krupa Shankar, IFFCO State Marketing Manager explained the farmers about the efficacy of nano urea, nano DAP and other products of IFFCO. In this programme Mr. Narasimha Rao, AO and IFFCO district Manager Nagarjuna summarized the speeches of the resource persons. About 150 farmers participated in the programme.
