Training programme on best management practices in direct seeding rice at KVK, Wyra on 04.02.2025

As a part of SBI-CSR-DSR project titled “Promotion of Direct seeding Rice for Sustainable Rice Production’ KVK, Wyra conducted training programme on Best management practices in direct seeding Rice at Rythuvedika of Tanikella Village of Konijerla Mandal, Khammam district on 04.02.2025 and for this event 36 direct seeding paddy cultivating farmers from cluster villages Tanikella were participated. Wherein Dr K. Ravi Kumar, Programme coordinator, KVK, Wyra addressed about the weed management in direct seeding rice and pest and disease management in Rice and Dr. V. Chaitanya, SMS (Horticulture) explained about the importance of direct seeding and project implementation and activities yet to be conducted in DSR project cluster villages. In this event 36 farmers, Sri Balaji, MAO, Konijerla, Smt. Saritha, AEO, Tanikella were participated and the farmers were interacted with scientists about the present crop condition.
