Legal literacy camp held at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 29-10-2019

A legal literacy camp has been organized atAgricultural College Sircilla on 29.10.2019 in which the IXthAdditional Sessions Judge and the Chairman of mandal Literacy Services Committee Sircilla Sri. M. Johnson garu and Smt. S. Sridevigaru, Principal Junior Civil Judge and also the staff and students have participated. The programme was organized to create awareness among the students as well as staff on their legal rights as citizens of the nation. The Associate Dean of Agricultural College, Sircilla Dr. G. Samuelwelcomed the judiciary to the newly established college and expressed his happiness for the interest shown by the Hon’ble Judges on Agriculture as it a better profession among all others. While speaking on the occasion the Addl.Sessions Judge thrown light on environmental protection act and other relavent acts pertaining to Agricultural profession. He urged the staff and students to get benefitted out of their legal rights and try to empower themselves in their own profession i.e., Agriculture. Smt. M. Sridevi,Principal Junior Civil Judge has explained about hierarchy of Courts for which the citizens need to appeal for their grievances. The Advocates Sri. P. Krishna and Sri. K. Srinivasa Rao explained about the Constitution of India and different articles. Sri.Sudhakar, Sub-inspector of police, Rajanna Sircilla Dist. was also participated in the programme. A total of 150 staff, students and out-sourced personnel participated in the programme. Finally, the programme concluded with formal vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. K. BhavyaSree.
