Live telecast of 19th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and Kisan Samman Samaroh on 24.02.2025 at KVK, Wyra.

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is an initiative by the government of India, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, aimed at addressing the financial requirements of farmers for agricultural inputs and household needs. It is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from Government of India. It has become operational from 1.12.2018. Under the scheme an income support of 6,000/- per year in three equal instalments will be provided to all land holding farmer families. For this, KVK, Wyra was organised a large gather at Rythu Shikshana Bhavan of KVK, farmers are felicitated by the staff of KVK, Wyra for their unwavering support for testing, adopting, disseminating and resonating the KVK technologies. In this event, Dr. K. Ravi Kumar, Programme coordinator (FAC) addressed the Pest and Disease management in Yasangi season crops like paddy, Maize, pulses. Dr. V. Chaitanya delivered the lecture on Management of pests and diseases in mango and summer vegetable cultivation in Khammam district and P.S.M Phanisri encouraged the farmers to form FPO’s and benefits of FPO for the farming community. As part of this programme total 112 farmers and farm women were participated and most of the farmers were interacted with the scientists about the present crop situations.
