Mahaparinirwan Diwas of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar at Agricultural Polytechnic and Agricultural Research Station, Kampasagar on 06-12-2021

Agricultural Polytechnic, Kampasagar organized Dr.B.R.Ambedkar 65th death anniversary on 06.12.2021. Dr. M. Goverdhan, Principal Scientist (Agro.) & Head, ARS, Kampasagar, Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi, Principal, APT, Kampasagar, Mrs. V. Sri Ramya, Assistant Professor (SSAC), Mrs. G. Swathi, Assistant Professor (Horti), V. Narsing Rao, Superintendent, M. Parasuramulu, Senior Assistant, M. Shekar Reddy, Physical Director, Diploma Ist and IInd year students and contract labour have participated in the meeting. All the staff members and students paid floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Dr. M. Goverdhan, Principal Scientist (Agro.) & Head said that Babasaheb Ambedkar worked relentlessly through out his life for the dignity and equality of all the citizens of the country, he was Indias first law and justice minister, architect of Constitution of India and Bharath Ratna, India's highest civilian award was posthumously conferred to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. Dr. I. Swarnalatha Devi, Principal also memorized Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar was an economist, professor, and lawyer and fought against social discrimination towards the untouchables and he was appointed as independent India’s first justice minister and became the chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Indian Constituent Assembly. Some of the students and staff members also memorized the movements lead by Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. The meeting end with vote of thanks proposed by Physical Director.
