EEI, Hyderabad observed Mahaparinirwan Diwas of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on 06-12-2021

The teaching and non-teaching staff of EEI, Hyderabad offered floral tributes respectfully to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on 06-12-2021 to commemorate 66th death anniversary of this multifaceted personality. Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar popularly known as Babasahab Ambedkar was born on 14th April 1891 in a village named Mhow in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. He has done masters in 64 subjects, knew 9 languages and has studied across the world for 21 years. He was the first Indian to pursue a doctorate. He was primarily an economist and educationist. He was a great politician and jurist. He struggled a lot throughout his life, implied laws for people and he was the chief architect of the Indian constitution. He was posthumously conferred with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award. He passed away on 6th December, 1956. Today, he was remembered for his good deeds and welfare. Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director and all the staff of EEI, Hyderabad participated in this programme.
