Observance of Mahaparinivaran Diwas at Agricultural College, Adilabad on 06.12.2024

The Mahaparinivaran Diwas (68th vardhanthi) was observed at Agricultural College on 6.12.2024. As part of this Programm, Officer Incharge Students Activities Dr. M. Suresh invited Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean on to the dias. It was followed by floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar by Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean. The Teaching faculty, Dr. K. Bhanu Rekha Professor, Agronomy, Dr. G. Anitha, Associate Professor, Entomology and Dr. M. Suresh, OISA also offered floral tributes to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar followed by the Teaching Associates, Non-Teaching staff and students. It was followed by brief Introduction about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, reason and reason behind for organizing Mahaparinirvan divas every year by OISA. Later, Dr Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean addressed the Teaching staff, Non-Teaching staff and Students on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s, life, his contributions to the society apart from significant positions held in Indian politics, apart from services rendered for the betterment of the underprivileged people in the society. The address also had a special focus on the educational background, ideas of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in carving the Indian constitution. Among the B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag., I year students three boys and three girls also expressed their gratitude towards Baba Saheb Ambedkar, The programme ended with vote of thanks presented by Dr. M. Suresh, Officer In-charge of Student Affairs, Ag. College, Adilabad.
