Training programme on “Management of Viral diseases in Chilli crop” in Gangapuram village, Koyagudem (GP) of Tekulapally mandal on 03-12-2020

KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted training programme on “Management of Viral diseases in chilli crop” in Gangapuram village, Koyagudem (GP) of Tekulapally mandal on 03-12-2020. Dr. G. Veeranna, Programme Co-ordinator, has explained about the package of practices to be followed in chilli, with special emphasis on fertilizer management and its impact in reduction of cost of cultivation. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, SMS (Plant Protection), has spoken about the viral diseases and their identification, role of vectors in the transmission of viral diseases and their integrated pest management practices to the farmers. MAO, Tekulapally, Ms. Annapurna, AEO, Ms. Sravani, Ramesh and Sarpanch, P.Uma has participated in the progarmme. After the training programme the scientific team visited the farmer’s fields and suggested the remedial measures for pests and diseases observed. A total of 56 farmers attended the training programme.
