The Meri Maati Mera Desh programme organized by NSS Unit at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla, on 12 October, 2023

The ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign is a part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ initiative launched by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modiji earlier this year to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence. The Meri Maati Mera Desh programme organized by NSS Unit on 12 October, 2023 at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla to honour the brave freedom fighters and bravehearts who sacrificed their lives for the country. The NSS Programme Officer Dr. T. Arunbabu started the programme with brief introduction about the significance of the campaign. Later Dr. G. Sridevi, Associate Dean said that as a citizens of the country, we have to remind the courage and sacrifices of the people during struggle of Independence and will inspire future generations to follow in their footsteps. All the NSS volunteers, teaching and non-teaching staff put hand full of soil into kalash and took a pledge.
