Meri Maati Meri Desh Kalash Yathra – Mitti Ko Naman, Veeron Ka Vandan - NSS Unit, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 13.10.2023

NSS unit, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar has organized “Meri Maati Meri Desh Kalash Yathra - Mitti Ko Naman, Veeron Ka Vandan” programme on 13.10.2023 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon to pay tributes to valiant individuals who sacrificed their lives to the nation. For this programme NSS volunteers collected soil from different parts of College of Agriculture to fill earthen pots and also taken panch pran pledge which include fostering national development, eradicating the colonial mindset, embracing our rich heritage, promoting unity and solidarity, fulfilling civic duties and showing respect to the defenders of the nation. In this programme.Dr. C Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar has started the Kalash Yatra along with 300 NSS volunteers, NSS Programme Officers, teaching and non teaching staff. Later the Kalashes were handed over by Dr. C Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar along with NSS Pos to Dr.Jella Satyanarayana, NSS Programme Coordinator and Dean of Student Affairs, PJTSAU for sending to Amrit vatika – a symbol of the commitment towards the achieving the goal of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”.
