MoU between PJTSAU and APFTAL; MARUT DRONETECH on 25-06-2021

PJTSAU – Hyderabad, 25th June 2021: The Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) has been executed between Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University(PJTSAU), Asia Pacific Flight Training Academy Limited (APFTAL)and Marut Dronetech Private Limited here on Friday in the presence of PJTSAU vice chancellor D r V Praveen Rao. This MoU was executed by Dr S Sudheer Kumar, Registrar, PJTSAU, Mr. Hemanth Dhandapani,CEO, M/s Asia Pacific Flight Training Academy Limited and Mr. Prem Kumar Vislawath,CEO, M/s Marut Dronetech Private Limited, at the program organized through offline mode in committee hall -1 in Administrative office, PJTSAU, Rajendranagar. As part of this agreement three organizations will cooperate in conducting training, research and development activities with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles automation and intelligence. PJTSAU, APFTAL and Marut Dronetech propose to work towards RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System)Training wherein APFTAL and Marut Dronetech proposes to design, develop, and deliver the training to trainees and PJTSAU proposes to make available the required infrastructure for the RPAS training on mutually agreed basis. APFTAL and Marut Dronetech propose to offer training on RPAS based on mutually agreed upon commercial terms and conditions wherein Marut shall design and develop course structure as per DGCA approved CAR and offer the required software, RPAS, drones and related equipment and peripherals. The training shall be offered by APFTAL as required by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The PJTSAU shall provide the required space and infrastructure such as open areas for flying and classrooms for ground training. PJTSAU, APFTAL and MARUT DRONETECH will jointly establish a Skill Development Center on RPAS /Drone Technology. The center will conduct periodical skill development programs and demonstrations for students, farmers and extension officials with the help of ITE&C-TS and state agriculture department. PJTSAU will disseminate the improved technologies through training cum awareness programs for students/ rural youth/ farmers/ stakeholders/ extension functionaries/ beneficiaries and other stake holders. PJTSAU would act as a nodal center for generating and providing information on protected cultivation and precision farming. PJTSAU and ITE&C Department Shall facilitate educate and inform all Telangana State Govt and other government departments towards benefits of usage of these technology platforms towards effective and efficient conduct of their workflow. Also orient and encourage the various Departments to allocate personnel to avail these training schedules.
