The Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University and FMC India Pvt. Ltd. have entered into an MoU on 15th Dec’ 2021, under which FMC is actively collaborating to extend “FMC Science Leaders Scholarship Program” for PG & PhD students to facilitate cutting edge research addressing the challenges of sustainable agriculture development. Dr. Ravi Annavarapu, President FMC India Pvt. Ltd. and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. V. Praveen Rao have signed the MoU. Registrar, University officers, PJTSAU and the FMC team participated in the said program. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor has appreciated the initiatives undertaken by FMC in the field of sustainable technologies addressing the challenges of agriculture at global and national level. The outreach activities carried out in rural India through several initiatives such as Project Safal and Project Samarth for safe water, good health, GAP, empowering women in agriculture and promoting science among the youth were the remarkable effort made by the FMC. He appreciated the Science Leadership Program through PG Scholarships, internships and Research Mentorship for encouraging the talent from campuses. PJTSAU is looking forward to collaborate with FMC to work on common goals such as Precision Agriculture, AGRITECH Venture Capital, Sustainable Pest Management Solutions and Farmer connect Programmes in adopted villages of PJTSAU across Telangana Sate. Fruitful interactions took place between the FMC team and University officers, PJTSAU for further strengthening the collaboration in the areas of teaching, research and extension.
