In Agricultural college, Aswaropet, National Agricultural Education Day has been celebrated as a honor and tribute to first President of Independent India and first Union Minister of Agriculture of India in 1946, Bharat Raina, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The Associate Dean Dr. Aldas Janaiah said that existence of Agriculture as a technical course and establishment of first Agricultural university in the world. Later he also added that Agricultural education day is to expose students to various aspects of agriculture and its significance in country's growth and development Also explained students about education models during COVID-19 period. Later NSS PO Dr. Ramprasad is explained the students about that students and youngsters strength or future of agriculture in India, it is important to attract and encourage youngsters towards agriculture sector. I-le is added that the aim of this occasion is to create interest in agriculture and allied sciences among the school and college students and to choose 'agriculture' as their professional and research career or engage themselves in fanning as agri entrepreneurs. Around 30 students and faculty actively took part in the occasion. Few of the students attended the programme through Cisco webcx virtual platform. NSS PO s PO Dr. Ramprasad, Dr.R. Ramesh and D.Sravanthi organized the event.
