Agricultural College, Jagtial - National Agricultural Education day on 03.12.2022

Agricultural Education Day was celebrated at Agricultural College, Polasa, Jagtial on 3rd December 2022. As part of the celebrations school students from three different schools, namely, Alphores School, ZP high school, Sri chaithanya school located in and around Jagtial visited different labs, ELP units and fields in the campus. The faculty from respective departments educated the students on various aspects of agriculture by showcasing the lab, field and ELP unit activities and clarified their doubts. Later, a quiz programme was conducted to the students. The Associate Dean Dr. S. Narender Reddy interacted with the school students and encouraged them to choose agriculture as a profession by explaining the various job opportunities to the agriculture graduates and postgraduates and distributed prizes to the winners of the quiz competition. All the teaching and non-teaching faculty have participated in this programme.
