  • The live webcast of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modi ji was broadcasted at KVK, Kampasagar with farmers and students.
  • Before and after live webcast, a farmer - scientist interaction was conducted and organic and natural farming practising farmers were shared their views. 
  • Dr. M. Shankariah, Programme Coordinator & Head, KVK, Kampasagar addressed the gathering and translated the PM’s live speech to the audience about the Natural Farming, its importance and significance. Counselled farmers about the problems of over chemical fertilization. Directed farmers to substitute chemical fertilizers and pesticides with the use of naturals.
  • Dr. Narayana Rao, representative from Petroleum Conservation Research Association, Southern Region, concentrated on energy changes and conservation in natural farming and advised farmers to go backwards to natural farming with conventional nutrients.
  • Dr. M. Shankar, SMS (Plant Protection) spoke on importance of natural farming. Advised farmers to take inspiration from fellow organic and natural farming practicing farmers.
  • Dr. T. Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) explained about difference between organic farming and natural farming. Explained about the procedures to prepare some of cow/buffalo-based solution to farmers.
  • Smt. S. Pallavi, SMS (Extension) briefed about the importance natural farming. Suggested farmers to form cooperative group for maximum benefits of natural farming and markets benefits of cooperative groups.
  • Smt. T. Himabindu, SMS (Horticulture) explained the benefits of practicing natural farming in vegetables and marketing strategies to gain benefits.
