Celebration of National Farmer's Day on 23-12-2020 at Adopted Village, Damera by Agricultural College, Warangal

Agricultural College, Warangal has celebrated “National Farmers day” at Adopted village, Damera on 23.12.2020 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh, the fifth prime minister of India. Dr. M. Balram, Associate Dean addressed the gathering on the importance of farmer’s day and he said that Kisan Diwas is a reminder to everyone that we must respect, thank and appreciate the hard work of our farmers who provide us food. On this occasion, farmers were greeted with a flower to appreciate the farmers’ tremendous dedication and effort as they are the true heroes of our nation. During this programme, rabi paddy nursery fields were inspected and recommendations were given. Dr. G. Swathi, Dr. J. Kamalakar and Dr. Ch. Anusha and farmers have participated in the programme.
