Celebrations of National Teacher’s Day, 2024 at Agricultural College, Adilabad on 05-09-2024

Agricultural College, Adilabad celebrated National Teacher’s Day, 2024 on 05th September 2024. The programme was started by Dr. M. Suresh, Officer Incharge Student Affairs by welcoming Associate Dean, Teaching, Non teaching staff and Students. This programme was started by introduction importance of Teachers day and reasons behind it for celebration of the event. The Associate Dean, Teaching and Non-Teaching faculty and Students were garlanded and paid floral tributes to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan photo on this occasion. Later, Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean addressed the gathering and briefed about the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan contribution and achievements for the country. In speaking to the Students encouraged them to work hard and bring laurels to the College and University. He expressed that Teachers get satisfaction only when their students reach to the greater heights. Dr. G. Anitha, Assoc. Professor, (Ento.) said that the Teachers acknowledges the challenges, hardships and plays a special role in building the society. She also stated that teaching is not a profession, but a way of life. All the Teaching staff Teaching Associates (Full/Part time) namely Dr. R. Sunil Kumar, J. Rakesh, Ms. Dagam Sindhu, Ms. Kurme Apurva, Ms. Kosgi Mounika and Ch Saikiran expressed their views on this special day and shared their few experiences with their Teachers. Three (One Girl and Two boys) students also expressed their gratitude towards the teachers on this occasion. During the meeting, all the Teaching & Non-Teaching staff, Students, Field & Office staff expressed their greeting to Dr. K. Bhanu Rekha, Professor (Agro.) who is selected for State Teachers Award, 2024 from this Institute. The programme was attended by Dr. G. Anitha, Associate Professor (Ento.) and other teaching and Non- teaching staff of Agricultural College, Adilabad. The event ended with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. M. Suresh, OISA, Agricultural College, Adilabad.
