Agricultural Research Station-DAATTC, Karimnagar organized National Voter’s Day on 25th January, 2022 and Republic Day on 26th January, 2022

Government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as "National Voters' Day" under the theme of “Making Elections Inclusive, Accessible and Participative”. 12th National Voter’s Day was observed on 25th January, 2022 at Agricultural Research Station-DAATTC, Karimnagar initiated in 2011 by the then President of India, Pratibha Devi Patil, on the 61st foundation day of the Election Commission of India, established on January 25, 1950. The Principal Scientist (Agro.) and Head has sensitized the gathering regarding the essentiality of casting vote, importance of vote and the future benefits of selecting a good leader for their social and economic development and to vote in every election without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community. Dr.E.Rajanikanth, Scientist (Agro.) and Farm Superintendent has recited the pledge followed by all others. All the teaching, non-teaching, time scale and contract labour have attended the pledge duly following the covid guidelines. The 73rd Republic Day has been celebrated at Agricultural Research Station-DAATTC, Karimnagar on 26th January, 2022. The flag was hoisted at 9:00 am followed by the National Anthem. The Principal Scientist (Agro.) and Head has addressed the gathering to put their part of effort sincerely for the development of the Research Station and development of good maize hybrids for the farming community.
